The roastery

Small batch, roasted to order

Gigi's Coffee is a small batch coffee roaster. That means every bag is roasted in limited runs — after you order it, not before. Your coffee never sits on a warehouse shelf losing the aromatics that make it worth drinking.

Roasting in small batches gives us something volume roasters can't offer: attention. Each batch is roasted to bring out what makes that particular coffee special — the bright fruit of our Ethiopia Sidama, the clean balance of our Costa Rica, the deep caramel sweetness of our blends.

How your coffee is made

From the farm to your door, every step is built around one goal: fresher coffee in your cup.

  1. 1

    Sourced with care

We source from trusted farms and growing regions — single origins like Ethiopia and Costa Rica, plus blends built for everyday drinking.

  2. 2

    Roasted to order

There's no inventory. Your beans are roasted after you buy them, in small batches, with a roast profile chosen for each coffee.

  3. 3

    Shipped fast

Bags leave our US roastery within days of roasting and arrive in 3–5 business days — right at peak flavor.

Why freshness wins

Coffee is at its best in the days and weeks after roasting. The lively acidity, the sweetness, the aroma — they all fade with time, and supermarket coffee can sit for months before it's ever brewed.

Roasting to order means your coffee reaches you close to its peak. We recommend letting freshly roasted beans rest a few days after arrival for the fullest flavor, then enjoying them within a few weeks.

Choose your grind

Our bagged coffees are available whole bean, or ground for espresso, standard drip, or coarse brews like French press. Prefer to grind at home? Whole bean keeps longest and gives you the most control.

Not sure which size? Start with a sample pack and find your favorite — Gigi has a few opinions, but the choice is yours.
